Throughout my career, I’ve studied great REALTOR® leaders. There is an art to making good decisions and I’m confident that part of that is having courage to make a decision, even when that decision is met with resistance. As a leader, you must listen first. True courage is to know when to fact-find and take the necessary steps to make a thoughtful decision, rather than react or respond due to pressure or fear.
It takes courage to lean in and trust your team rather than think you have all the answers. Being at the level of first vice president or president of the National Association of REALTORS® means you have the courage to effectively build a team and make a big impact on our communities.
I am asking for your vote because I believe in the power of our collective voice. Together, we can lead with empathy, professionalism and a strong commitment to doing what is right for our industry. Join me, and let your voice be heard.
“Christine led the largest state association in the country. She led it with courage. She led it with conviction. She brought those thoughtful, caring leadership qualities that she does, but also was not afraid to make those tough choices at the time. And as CEO of an association myself, she’s the type of leader you want to work with.”
—Gavin Blair, CEO at Iowa Association of REALTORS®, Des Moines
“With Christine, you have a courageous fighter who will always be there for you. She is the rock in our industry in a time where we need a rock, and her word is her bond.”
—Johnny Mowad, President of the Board, Texas REALTORS®, Dallas
